Common GATE Mtech Admission in 8 NITs | NIT Admission

Last year, 6 NITs came together to carry out their Common GATE MTech NIT admission procedure. This year, since the number of NITs has increased, 8 NITs have came together to form Common GATE Mtech Admission 2011-2012. I have provided all the details of the procedure to Common GATE MTech Admission of 8 NITs.

Common GATE MTech Admission in 8 NITs:

This year NIT Agartala, NIT Calicut, NIT Jaipur, NIT Nagpur, NIT Rourkela, NIT Suratkal, NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal invites applications for M.Tech admissions in various streams. No doubt, these NITs are the best NITs of our country and you are gonna have a safe future, if you secure a admission seat in such NITs.

Eligibility Criteria for Common Mtech NIT admission:

The candidate should be qualified with BE/BTech/MSc or equivalent degree and should have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in the qualifying exam.

The candidates currently appearing for BE/BTech can also apply. But, they have to produce their marksheet showing 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate.

Fee for Common Mtech NIT Admission:

Rs. 500 (General and OBC)
Rs. 200 (SC/ST)

Important Dates for Common NIT Admission:

- Last date for filling online application: 27.05.2011

- Last date for receipt of printout of the completed online application along with processing fee: 03.06.2011

- Date of FIRST round of allotment: 25.06.2011 at 4.00 p.m.
