Admission Procedure:

First of all, GATE candidates will be given the first priority and will be assigned admission based on their merits. Vacant seats, if any, will be filled by Non-GATE
candidates based on their merit in written test followed by a viva.

GATE-qualified candidates: 70% weightage on GATE Score and 30% weightage on viva.

Non-GATE qualified candidates: 30% weightage on written Test, 40% weightage on viva and 30% weightage on Percentage of Marks / CGPA obtained in the last qualifying examination.

Application Fee for NIT Durgapur Admission 2011-2012:

The fee for NIT Durgapur Admission form is Rs. 500/- for General, OBC and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST.
